The 33rd Africa Cup of Nations, which was delayed by a year due to the cholera virus, is still under threat in January.

The Wolves, who have confirmed their participation in the tournament, arrived in Cameroon last Sunday ahead of all other African countries.

The Ethiopian national football team has 25 players including Getaneh Kebeden, the all-time leading scorer, and in addition to the CAF limit, three players have been added to the executive committee of the Ethiopian Football Federation.

Seraph Referee, Frew Getahun and Yenishaw, who had previously been on the waiting list for the 25-man squad announced on December 14, 2014, have joined the national team with 28 players heading to Cameroon.

The Ethiopian men's national team last participated in the Africa Cup of Nations eight years ago in South Africa.

The Ethiopian national team delegation left Bole International Airport last Sunday for Douala, Cameroon's second largest city, and spent an hour in the capital Yaounde.

Upon arrival at Yaounde Airport, the national team inspected the CVD-19 and then proceeded to the Hotel de Deputie, according to the Ethiopian Football Federation.

The national team has so far performed four simple and strenuous exercises.

Why did the Walias go to Cameroon first?

According to Ethiopian Football Federation Secretary General Bahru Tilahun, the initial plan was to organize in one of the countries in the Middle East.

"There were talks with the Saudi Arabian Football Association. We even covered our expenses and talked with them to get ready.

However, he told the BBC that Ethiopia was one of the countries where the Saudi Arabian government had imposed travel bans following the spread of cholera virus. The Saudi Arabian Football Federation also expressed sorrow over the incident and apologized.

Who said what about the Africa Cup of Nations in Ethiopia?

The founder of the African Women's Champions League, September, was renewed

Following the failure of the first plan, the federation was forced to move on to the second plan. This meant traveling to West African countries to practice. Finally, it was decided to go to the host country, Cameroon, to practice.

He also said that the fact that the national team is already heading to Cameroon will help adjust to the country's climate.

He said some football associations, including FIFA and the European Football Association, had suggested that the Africa Cup of Nations should not be held at this time following the outbreak.

"As the founders of Pan-Africanism and the founder of CAF, we have already decided to head to Cameroon to ensure that this competition will be held in Cameroon on time."

The Cameroonian government, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) have confirmed that the tournament will be held in accordance with the schedule.

However, according to the organizers, only fans who have been fully vaccinated against CVD-19 will be able to attend the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.

The stay and preparation of Cameroon

The Ethiopian national team is currently in a training camp service facilitated by a FIFA agent. According to Bahru, the training camp will provide hotel, accommodation, training venue and other essentials.

"Now the location of the national team meets all their needs. The players are still providing the necessary training and preparation at this center," he said.

The Ethiopian national football team is currently preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations. He is also preparing for the week-long competition with regular practice. He also played a friendly match against the Sudanese national team in Cameroon on Thursday.

Amanuel G. Michael scored two goals and Shimeles Bekele scored one goal in the Group A match against Egypt, Nigeria and Guinea Bissau.

The Secretary General of the Federation, Bahru Tilahun, told the BBC that the Ethiopian government will cover the entire expenses of the Walias during their stay in Cameroon.

The federation received the funds from the government for the team representing Ethiopia in the Africa Cup of Nations.

"We have asked for 51 million birr for this competition and 35 million birr has been approved. It is with this money that the national team is operating. In this case, the federation is grateful for everything it has done," Bahru said.

What can we expect from the guardians?

Ethiopia, the founder of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has been away from the tournament for more than once. But the team that is taking part in the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations is eager to change that story.

He said the Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) is expected to advance to the finals of this year's Africa Cup of Nations.

The Ethiopian national football team has been drawn against Cameroon, Burkina Faso and Cape Verde in this year's Africa Cup of Nations.

"We want to take on other responsibilities in the field of sports diplomacy," he said.

He said there are about 20 Ethiopian groups in Cameroon to mobilize these Ethiopians to support the national team and more than 500 supporters are preparing to travel from Ethiopia to Cameroon.

The Walias in Cameroon

Ethiopia reached the Africa Cup of Nations nine years later.

This is the 11th time the Walias have won the continent's biggest trophy in 1962.

Ethiopia, ranked 137th in the world, is headed to Yaunde under the guidance of coach Wobetu Abate and Ambelu Getaneh Kebede.

The Africa Cup of Nations is expected to be a showcase for the coaching father, Ethiopia and one of the founders of the Africa Cup of Nations.

He is a coach who prefers to play ball with his eyes.

Midfielder Shimeles Bekele and Getaneh Kebede, along with young Ethiopian Coffee striker Abubakar Nasser, could pose a threat to their rivals.

He is expected to enter the field with a 4-3-3 formation, with four midfielders and three strikers.

It is not surprising that Ethiopia, which is strengthening its national team with a beautiful father, is making a big move to the Round of 16.

This is a great opportunity for Ethiopians who are eager to see their national team participate in the biggest tournament in Africa.
